Lecco is the treasure chest of history that has passed through it, every epoch has brought with it constructions and destruction, but still today the medieval tower in Piazza XX Settembre, known as Torre Viscontea, is still visible and in excellent condition part of the walls, the so-called wall wall.
The historic center that extends parallel to the lake shore offers 19th century architecture, clearly visible in the portico that characterizes Piazza XX Settembre and some buildings in the center.
